the location was perfect for exploring the nearby lakes, easily accessible by the convenient Eco bus service. the rooms were comfortable and we enjoyed the authentic feel of the traditional hotel. We were impressed by the attentive service we received from the helpful staff who assisted us in every way possible.
Although the staff was friendly, their English skills could have been better, leading to some confusion regarding the onsen's opening and closing times.

The food was amazing, and it was the best set dinner we had in our trip to this region of Japan. We also loved the hotel's cleanliness and facilities, which made our stay very comfortable. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect as it provided easy access to the beautiful lakes around this city.
Nothing negative to say.

Had a lovely Easter break at a Ryokan in a charming small town. The Eco bus was a convenient way to access nearby lakes. Enjoyed trying traditional Japanese dishes during set dinner. Staff was helpful and arranged everything for us.
Although staff spoke English, they could have improved their communication about onsen opening and closing times. Would have liked to have visited onsen on last morning, but weren't clear about the schedule.

Spent my Easter vacation in a charming and authentic location that was very quiet and offered comfortable accommodations with great service. the location was ideal as it offered easy access to nearby lakes via an Eco bus that was very comfortable and well-run. the traditional onsen experience was also a standout feature that provided a unique and refreshing spa experience. the staff was friendly and helpful and language was not a barrier.
The language barrier was a bit of an issue as staff struggled to explain the onsen opening times, resulting in us missing out on a visit. this was a minor inconvenience in comparison to all the highlights of the experience.
